Zultys ZAC offers an easy-to-use interface for recording voicemail greetings for your personal extension or a group you’re authorized to manage. You’ll need a microphone connected to your computer (such as a built-in mic or headset) to record.

• If you prefer to set up your voicemail using your desk phone instead, refer to the appropriate desk phone voicemail setup guide.

Steps in ZAC:

1. Open the ZAC application.
2. Click the Voicemail icon on the left sidebar.
3. Click the Greetings button (usually located in the top-left area of the Voicemail section).

This opens the Voicemail Settings window.

By default, the dropdown menu at the top displays “My voice mail greeting” for your personal voicemail setup.

To configure a group voicemail, select the desired group name from the dropdown. (Note: You can only access and set up voicemail boxes for groups where you are a member with the necessary permissions.)

Recording Your Name and Greeting:

1. First, record your name (or the group name, if setting up a group mailbox).
   • This recorded name is used in the company’s dial-by-name directory. If you skip this step, callers won’t be able to locate you (or the group) via directory search.
2. Next, record your voicemail greeting.
3. After recording, activate the greeting by checking the box to the left of its name.
4. You can:
   • Play the recording using the green Play button.
   • Re-record if needed.
   • Rename the greeting by clicking the pencil icon (optional).
5. When finished, click the Apply button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

The Voicemail Settings window will refresh after a few seconds. Once the update completes, click OK to close the window and finish the setup.

Testing Your Greeting:

To verify your new greeting works as expected, place a test call to your voicemail:

• From your desk phone or from ZAC (when bound to a softphone), dial *86 followed by your extension and then #. Example: For extension 201, dial *86201#.

This routes the call directly to your voicemail, allowing you to hear the greeting and confirm everything is set up correctly.
